Gibson Montana® Elvis
Presly Signature Model®
This customized 1956 Gibson J-200 is the
oldest in the Graceland archives. It remained one of Elvis'
favorite guitars for many years, and he used it during
his official return to the live concert stage at the International
Hotel in Las Vegas during the Summer of 1969. Except for
his triumphant 1968 television special, this was his first
live concert appearance in eight years. This landmark
performance helped permanently re-establish Elvis Presley's
stature as the ultimate live performer, and truly deserving
of his title "The King of Rock and Roll."
Each reproduction will be handmade by
Gibson in Montana, and will be an exact replica of Elvis'
personal Gibson J-200 acoustic.
The Elvis Presley Signature Model will
be a limited edition of 250 guitars, each numbered and
bearing a signed certificate of authenticity.
This model is endorsed
by Graceland and bears the official seal of Elvis
Presley Enterprises, Inc.
